Kay Panabaker "US Teens Can Be Stupid"
-Posted by: Allison
FAME star Kay Panabaker featured in The Courier Mail. Texas-born Kay on her early life: 'Whenever we moved my mom always found some extracurricular activity for us. When we lived in Pennsylvania, it was soccer and cheerleading. When we moved to Georgia we were home schooled for a bit, so my mom was like, 'well we should find something to keep them interacting with kids their age', and we found community theatre.
Sometimes my parents would be involved, other times it was just me and my sister. My parents weren't actors; my mom has crowd phobia and my dad's a complete goober. It was just a lot of fun. And then it kind of just grew exponentially from there.'
On Summerland with Jesse McCartney and Zac Efron: 'I do keep in touch with Zac, he's a sweetheart. Jesse was actually the heartthrob first, when we were still filming he was the big name. I love them both. They're both such great guys and still so sweet and so grounded. I'm so happy to have known them, especially Zac before all of his fame. Their success is amazing.' ... Read More ...
Behind the scenes videos with FAME cast
-Posted by: Violet
Here we have for you some videos - behind the scenes of FAME cast! They are so cute and funny. Can't wait to put up more videos when I find them, especially those featuring Kay!
I've found this cool exclusive video where the actors and actresses talk about Fame, meaning Kay too! "What makes Fame unique is that it requires the cast to act, sing, dance and play instruments", from the director. It really showcases a lot of Kay's abilities to the audience, I'm sure.
Here's a quote from Kay - "What I like about "Fame" is that it is all about the characters," quoted from Kay Panabaker who is acting as Jenny.
We added lots more promos of Kay's upcoming movie "Fame", that comes out September 25 + a brand new layout in the gallery! Check out the pics [n lay] HERE

Fame cast is very Vanity Fair
-Posted by: Lauren
Anna Maria Perez De Tagle gets tangled up with costar Paul Iacono in the June 2009 issue of Vanity Fair magazine.
Fame’s new faces — Anna, Paul, Kay Panabaker, Asher Book, Kherington Payne, Naturi Naughton, Collins Pennie, Walter Perez, Paul Mcgill and Kristy Flores — are all introduced in the issue.
The excerpt says, “One unintentionally refreshing upshot of a global financial meltdown is that kids may well choose to sing and dance again rather than pursue lucrative Wall Street jobs. Fame — the well-timed remake of the 1980 Oscar-winning movie may be the perfect elixir for our collective bailout blues.”
